I'm aware of "netname" in the PCIP package which does only A record lookups and an enhanced netname utility in the MD-DOS/IP package (WiscWare) which can lookup up other types. Any others? The HOST command in DOS PC/TCP can issue any kind of IP-related DNS query, and since v2.05 supports Hesiod queries as well. James B.
