I was the one responsible for negotiating the PCroute deal with Northwest University. I was Lanport's President at the time and am currently a Director charged with major contract negotiations. I'm the marketeer- businessman-deal maker of the outfit. All worldwide rights to PCroute are the property of Lanport Inc. of Pleasanton CA. The company is enhancing PCroute to make it a commercial product. We are interested in partner-ing with folks who have enhancments already. Mail me. Existing users of PCroute are encouraged to register with Lanport for upgrade info and support. There will be no licensing fee for the freeware versions of PCroute. Only subsequent versions who's copywright reads "1991 Lanport Inc." would be subject to a license fee. Please note that existing versions were not public domain. They were fee free copywright by Northwest University. As Lanport copywright existing versions remain fee free. We will make more announcements later see comp.dcom.lans.
