Based on track record, there seems to be something about Jobs that forces engineers (soft and hard) to do silly things. Finder is one thing that comes to mind. Virtual Slots is another. And what about no offloading onto coprocessors on original Macs (they've still not fixed that with MacOS on fx'es).
