Anyway, after a couple attempts, I decided >not to move onto that particular location... I also noticed that when phase-spiders are encountered with thri-kreen, the program doesn't have any problems. It is only when PS's are encountered "without any help from their friends" that the program crashes. I haven't encountered these critters anywhere else yet, so I can't give independent confirmation of the above. However, I'm definitely sure that its the phase spiders that fail (3 independent trials... followed by reboot :-) ). I sort-of decided that Teshwave wasn't too important, and moved-on. I'm pretty sure I found all of the important encounters there, although I can't be *absolutely* sure... On the whole, I'm VERY happy with this program, but this bug is annoying. I was looking forward to the challenge of dealing with large numbers of these critters (and getting the xp award, of course!). >There are a few bugs in the program. As an AD&D player, I avoid demi-humans because of the level-caps. So, I never tried these options. I *do* have a half-elf fighter/cleric in my party, who started with 12,500 xp in each class, so half-elves seem to work fine. (I generated her for kicks 'n giggles...) >Also, I found interesting behavior on my A3000. I've found that the cursor keys work well for selecting things, and the keyboard is (IMHO) an easier tool to control the program with. I don't use the mouse very much, myself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard J.
