Can anybody corroborate this? A local hardware hacker (Mark Tomlinson, the person responsible for IBeM, the PC emulator) has a CBM 2630 board plugged into his A500, and it works just fine. As far as I know, the board he built to do it is a straight gender changer, though he _might_ have had to shift one line (like I'm just a programmer ya know:-) If you'd like more info email him at tomlinson@elec.canterbury.ac.nz He's also been working on his own version of the 'wedge' PC->Amiga hard-disk adapter (like the bynery controller) - last I saw he had it doing _proper_ autoconfig and autobooot. ----------------------------------------------------------- | o John Davis - CHEM194@canterbury.ac.nz o | | o (Depart)mental Programmer,Chemistry Department o | | o University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand o |
