I have a couple of old 1meg boards out of a DN3000 which are no use to
person or beast, so, being the pervert I am, I thought I'd put them to
use, and either (1) knock up a home-grown cpu to talk to them, or (2)
hang them off the end of my old BBC micro & use them as a RAM disk.

The only thing that's stopping me is that I can get hold of any data
on the boards (i.e. what the hell all those pins on the connector do).

I 'phoned my local HP people, and their reply was "Dunno - 'phone
Chelmsford", so I 'phoned Chelmsford, who said "This must go through
the proper channels - talk to your local office" - who, of course,
said "Dunno - 'phone Chelmsford" ;-(

So - does anyone have any specs they're willing to give me? - I know
companies are notorious for screaming "Proprietary hardware - keep
off" in cases like this, but for a 3000 ? - It's hardly
state-of-the-art!

Oh yeah - in case you were wondering - this would be for personal use
only - not for monetary gain, and I'm happy to sign a non-disclosure
agreement if I need to.
