Message-ID: <1991Apr9.154219.10099@oracle.com> Date: 9 Apr 91 15:42:19 GMT Sender: news@oracle.com Organization: Oracle UK Lines: 28 A friend recently replaced his internal 1/2 meg drive with a 1 meg drive. He threw out the old one, so I thought I'd use it as a second drive on my STM (no internal drive). I made up a lead, but as soon as I connected the new drive, BOTH of my drives started acting as single sided. Anyone understand this? It must be possible to have one of each, since lots of people have 1/2 meg internal drives and 1 meg externals on their STFMs. Then again, we had to throw out a board full of electronics from his machine when we upgraded. Is this something to do with it? Could I use this? Will it allow me to have the 1/2 meg as B: (I certainly don't want one as A:!). Alternatively, anyone got a cheap 1 meg drive for sale near London, England? Do PC drives fit? Thanks for any help.
