I post the orginal message. My thanks to all that replied. It turns out that the viewer was at fault. No where in the Documention does it say that SPLINDEX.PRG requires the monitor to be running in 60hz mode (and not 50hz as in the UK for most monitors). This has been solved. Next question as a result: Does anyone have the source code (in Assembler if possible) of how to swap between 50hz and 60hz, as I would like to include it in a program. Dave
