Also if you want to upgrade to TOS 1.4 at the same time (a very good idea), that would be around another $100 for TOS 1.4. Sounds expensive, doesn't it?! Well on the other hand you could buy a brand new 2m 1040STe with TOS 1.6x for $500 (or a 4m 1040STe for $600!); then sell your older 1040ST for around $200. Price wise, you end up spending about the same amount of money buying a new machine as you do upgrading your old machine; the difference being, you end up with a better machine.
