My question is: is this just a cable with > the infamous 19-pin Atari HD plug on end and a more standard plug > on the other? Or is there a controller included? If so, is it SCSI ? It is an ACSI (Atari) to SCSI Adaptor, which may include a real time clock. And it's worth its money. You should consider using this adaptor with a Quantum Pro-Drive, speedy, nearly no noise, 3 1/2 inch. Works fine. Disclaimer: I have no connection to ICD or Quantum.
