I've been running the CMT 128K card in my 48SX since January '91 with no problems. Incidently, my HP-71B is still running fine with the CMT memory modules I purchased long ago (1984!). Anyway, I just got back from the local office supply store where I purchased the SC card (#75531) for about 30 bucks. The thing worked right out of the box! No screen fade, no battery low indicator, no nothing! I installed it in port 2 for a couple of reasons: 1) the CMT card is in port 1 and 2) it is easier to install/remove the SC card from port 2. The salesgirl asked my what model Smith Corona the card was for. I whipped out the HP and she looked at me like I was from Mars. I'll keep you folks posted on my SC-CMT coexistence story. Looks (Looks..that is) good so far. Cheers! Paul Kubinski (syspak@md-chi.prime.com)
