My roommate and I just replaced the batteries in our two HP's at the same time. I did the ESD test and I got about 8 pixels on the vertical lines, while he had no lines at all. Could someone tell me exactly what the ESD actually does and why there is this difference between our ESD tests? (I have a rev E and he has a rev C if that makes any difference. We both have a 128K ram card.) Thanks for the help!
