Message-ID: <1991Apr11.201045.21155@ccu.umanitoba.ca> Date: 11 Apr 91 20:10:45 GMT Sender: dennis@ccu.umanitoba.ca Distribution: na Organization: University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada Lines: 12 I have dealt with Trans International of Anaheim CA for over a year now. I purchased a 10Mhz XT machine from them and I would like to install a WDXT-GEN2 hard disk controller and 1.44 floppies (with Extended floppy controller.) I went into debug and got a BIOS date of 01/01/81. Yet the system boots up with "CAI/ERSO/BIOS 2.36 (C) 1986". I faxed the tech support people at Trans International asking if I would have problems with the BIOS. The tech faxed me back saying to give him a phone call. I have tried repeatedly to call him but I am not getting any calls back. Today, I was told by the guy that answered the phone that I shouldn't call them. My question to him was "why did the tech ask me to call him then? Some tech support!!!
