I don't need anything except one port, but two are alright. I would prefer it to be 16 bit, and have a socketed UART. I don't want a multi-function I/O card, since I've already got serial and parallel interfaces built into the motherboard, and I already have a game port on my Sound Blaster. I would prefer to just change UARTs, but my motherboard design uses VLSI UARTs, and it's just a bit hard to replace that with the 16550AN. Prices around $35 are a plus.
