Message-ID: Date: 12 Apr 91 12:27:54 GMT Sender: news@ncsu.edu (USENET News System) Organization: North Carolina State University Lines: 12 I have an old PC-AT hard disk controller with a 20 Meg disk. I also have a recently freed 70 Meg drive (DEC RD53 which is really Micropolis 1325) I have tried to connect this drive to the controller and cannot get the two to talk properly. The controller is in a 386 motherboard with AMI BIOS and works fine with the 20 Meg drive. Is this controller too old to work with a 70 Meg drive? The controller was original equipment with a 6MHz AT (The AT board was swaped for a 386 board which is why a 386 has such an old disk controller) -- Randy Buckland "It's hard to work North Carolina State University in a group when you're randy@ncsu.edu (919) 737-2517 omnipotent" -- Q
