I have written a device driver for a Western Digital 8003e ethernet
controller.  It is available via anonymous ftp from "cs.utk.edu" under
"pub/davison/*".  I have not used/tested the code for trailers (we
don't use them) or for NS (Xerox Network Service????).  The driver works
quite well for the Internet suite.  Running a few _simple_ performance
tests indicate it is roughly equal to the UB.  I would like to hear 
back from anyone who uses this driver, so let me know.
