I am looking for a cheap, simple way to get parallel I/O from my Macintosh. I would prefer a method which will allow me dump/read from/to my modem port using a telecom program (could I simply use a UART -- can they work with RS422?). I will also consider SCSI, but I only need 5 lines each way at ttl levels. Any suggestions? Please post or e-mail. If I get enough responses, I'll post a summary. Thanks. -- =============================================================================== Clint Laskowski Post Office Box 552, Cudahy, Wisconsin 53110-0552 ROBOTIC SYSTEMS INTERNET: robots@mixcom.com VOICE: (414) 769-9332 ===============================================================================
