Lisle, IL Lines: 19 Originator: kenk@sunHd Time to fess up - I'm sure most of you have done it at one time or another. I'm talking about spilling pop, coffee, etc, into your keyboard. I just recently spilled some root beer into mine. I tried cleaning it as soon as it happened, but apparently didn't get it all because my left shift key, the 1 key and the control key are sort of sticky. What I mean is: they go down readily enough, but come back up in slow motion. I tried everything short of pulling the caps off to clean it, but nothing seems to help. I guess the only thing left is to pull the caps off. What's the best way to do this without ruining the keyboard? I have a standard ADB keyboard (the older style, not the newer LC style) attached to my SE.
