Lines: 18 Dear netters, I am in the market for a second hard disk for my Mac IIsi 5/40. I have seen in the April issue of MacUser several ads for drives with the Quantum 105 mechanism as low as $349/$399, and asl low as $799 for the 210Mbyte. I assume this is the older version of the Quantum mechanism (not the LPS). Should I think twice before going for one of these? Does anybody have any opinions on drives from APS, ETC, POWERDrive, Warehouse 54 or other? I am going to buy postorder, any good pointers to good places? Where should I not buy?
