Well, I got my free gift. I got a new SE/30 last Fall (for work) and asked
for the mouse pad. I received it a month or so later. I bought an 
LC (for home) a couple of months ago, and I am currently receiving my copies of
MacWorld, so I guess it does work, at least sometimes.

My sympathy to all who haven't gotten their fair share. :-(
