Ok, I dug up SetDepth from the tech notes.. and prototyped the function: pascal short SetDepth(GDHandle gdh, short newDepth, short whichFlags, short newFlags) = {0x203C, 0x000A, 0x0013, 0xAAA2}; then call: SetDepth(gdh, 1, 1, 0) to change to monochrome 1 bit. and voila! It worked! BUT.. sigh... when I change myscreen from 8 bit to 1 bit, my mouse goes looney, and when I change back, it's looney too... (when I change from 8 bit color to 8 bit monochrome, no worries). Any ideas ----------------------- gb2a@andrew.cmu.edu baxter@a.cfr.cmu.edu baxter@imga.cfr.cmu.edu q100gb2a@vb.cc.cmu.edu "Only a Hawaiian can say Humuhumunukunukuapuaa five times fast, correctly."
