A graduate student here at Caltech has just purchased a NeXTstation
with 8 MBytes of RAM. He is running 2.1.

When he boots the system he gets the following error message:

kern_loader: kern_loader: link failed MIDI

The file it fails to load is /usr/lib/Kern_loader/Midi/Midi_reloc

We have even gone to the trouble of replacing this file from another
NeXT station....still have the problem.

Has anyone else seen this or something similar.
