I have a NeXTStation that is currently inoperable. The Workspace application seems to be trashed. I was supposed to meet with a NeXT rep this weekend to have this fixed, but he had to cancel (subject of this and other problems to be posted in a flame at a later date). I have a NeXTStation 105, with an external 210 & 40. I would like to have a copy of 2.0 (release or extended). I can unhook and travel with my 210 to build the OS onto. Until this happens, all I can do is login as console. P.S. I have spent three weeks trying to fix this problem with noone having a solution other than rebuilding the OS. If you think that you might be able to help with fixing the problem, I'd love to hear from you. Yes, I have reloaded the Netinfo database. Yes, I have reset the hostconfig and exports. The login window spawns the workspace app and dies with only a cryptic error message in the console log. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Matthew Huff | Tim Burnett Internet: huff@cactus.org | Intenet: timbur@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu Phone: (512)-339-4716 | (512)-339-4727 Tim&Matt are roomates...contact either one. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
