Message-ID: <9104102027.AA06946@gsusgi1.gsu.edu> Date: 10 Apr 91 20:27:51 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 16 We use our 4d/380s and 4d/280gtx as primary and secondary nameservers, respectively, for our GSU.EDU domain. I'm having problems getting sendmail to recognize an MX record in the named database. I ftp'd to SGI.COM and found an unsupported sendmail tar file under a directory called "MX_sendmail". The README didn't say anything about fixing an MX bug but the directory name sure implies it! So, I installed this unsupported binary (complete with the new sendmail.cf file) and it still doesn't recognize my MX record. What does this MX_sendmail binary fix...and has anyone else had problems with named MX records with sendmail? ====================================================================== Randy Carpenter syscrc@gsusgi1.gsu.edu Georgia State University (404) 651-2648
