Is it for fault tolerance or algorithm mapping, etc.? I would also like to hear about the various other purposes for which the dynamic reconfiguration is used ? 2. How is the code for a program supporting the reconfigurations done? Are there any tools available to aid the programmer in writing such programs especially if there are 100's of processors to reconfigure dynamically. 3. Can I have a list of dynamically reconfigurable machines ? This query was raised in the net some time ago, and I would like to get this list. I would also like to establish email contacts with people involved in developing software for dynamically reconfigurable machines. I would like to discuss their experiences in developing such software, etc. Thanks, Madhan.
