We've got a uVAX 630 in a BA123 case, an RQDX3 disk controller, and 3 RD54A (159Mb) drives. I'd like to drop in a SCSI controller and something on the order of a 1.2Gb SCSI drive, with the option of removing one of the RD54's if necessary. Being a novice at VAX configurations, I'd like to get an idea of what SCSI controllers Ultrix 3 supports (and if Ultrix can boot off them) and what controllers people recommend with respect to price/performance, as well as what 3rd party sources would be good for me to talk to. Thanks for any help. -- Guy Helmer, Dakota State University Computing Services helmer@sdnet.bitnet, dsuvax!ghelmer@wunoc.wustl.edu, wupost!dsuvax!ghelmer "I'm a cowboy, on a keyboard I ride..." -- with apologies to Bon Jovi
