Message-ID: <879@wyn386.mi.org> Date: 11 Apr 91 13:25:57 GMT Organization: Wynalda Litho Inc., Rockford, MI Lines: 20 I currently have several programs that display nice color text on the SCO Xenix console. They attempt to send the same colors to a DOS PC running a terminal package using ansi.sys or ansi.com and the colors and reverse video are goofed up. I have a program off the net called 'afilter' that will filter DOS ansi color to work properly on Xenix's console. Is there a program that will do the opposite? If I can do it with termcap or other modification of Xenix's setups (why wouldn't setcolor work on a terminal?). I imagine it has to do with escape sequence filterting.... Anyway, if anyone does this on a regular basis I'd like to know how. I'm actually using the a program over a LAN to get the data to the DOS PC rather than a serial port, but the escape sequences should work the same... PS. I can grab a Xenix modem over the DOS PC LAN and call a DOS ANSI bbs and the color works beautifully. -- Daniel Wynalda | (616) 866-1561 X22 Ham:N8KUD Net:danielw@wyn386.mi.org Wynalda Litho Inc. | 8221 Graphic Industrial Pk. | Rockford, MI 49341
