I have a postscript board (QMJ JetScript) installed as LPT2. I can write a certain postscript file to LPT2 using a special QMS utility, which probably writes directly to the hardware, in about 10 seconds from the DOS window. I can also issue the command "COPY LPT2" from outside of Windows with the same timing results. However, if I issue the COPY command from a DOS window, it takes over 13 minutes to print the file! What could possibly cause such a large difference in print time? -- POMPONIO,NICHOLAS A Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ncar,purdue,rutgers}!gatech!prism!np4 Internet: np4@prism.gatech.edu
