Message-ID: <2790@travis.csd.harris.com> Date: 26 Mar 91 22:00:36 GMT Sender: news@travis.csd.harris.com Distribution: na Organization: Harris Computer Systems, Ft. Lauderdale, FL Lines: 22 ATM on a 386/16 - Adobe based PS printer Prior to using ATM, I had no difficulties using the native fonts in the PS printer, but I have recently noticed "strange behavior": 1) If, in the win.ini I DO NOT specify that ATM download the fonts (such as AvantGarde), then I get courier. If I DO specify for ATM to download, then I only get the versions of AvantGarde (roman & Italic) that came from cica. Note that this behavior DOES NOT change if I select/do_not_select the "Use pre-built or resident bit amp fonts". 2) Even if ATM is disabled (turned off @ the ATM control panel), all win3 operations are still excruciatingly slow ... as if ATM was still running. Any thoughts? leoh@hdw.csd.harris.com Leo Hinds (305)973-5229 Gfx ... gfx ... :-) whfg orpnhfr V "ebg"grq zl fvtangher svyr lbh guvax V nz n creireg ?!!!!!!? ... znlor arkg gvzr
