(I've checked: the following does not occur when I use any other WindMgr, like mwm or ancient uwm, and is independant of the server (rel 3 or 4) ) I get annoying spurious events, mostly mouse-button clicks that never really happened, when moving the cursor around the screen. The effect is menus being brought up and then clients being started that I don't want, or cut's and paste's suddenly happening in some window (which can be desastrous if you have something like rm -fr * in your buffer :-( ) I thought it might be a defect mouse, but exchanging it didn't help. I tried a different X-terminal all together, to no avail. I'm pretty desperate as I have no way of finding out if the problem isn't in the server itself after all.
