Natuurkunde en Sterrenkunde, VU, Amsterdam Lines: 31 hi I am pretty sure that this has been asked before, but I do have some conflict with OpenWindows 2.0 'shelltool' and SunOS4.1.1 initiated from 'xdm' on a X-terminal. if I use '/bin/csh' as my default shell, that 'csh' is getting in a stopped mode someway and in the 'xdm' errlog displays: ttysw-TIOCSPGRP: Interrupted system call my '$HOME/.xsession' file looks like: #! /bin/sh # xrdb $HOME/.Xdefaults # Load Users X11 resource database mailtool -Wp 0 668 -Ws 589 178 -WP 911 3 -Wi & clock -Wp 786 0 -Ws 74 90 -WP 393 833 +Wi & shelltool -Wp 0 0 -Ws 591 120 -WP 5 8 & olwm -3 # OpenLook Window Manager when I define my defaults shell as '/bin/sh', everything works just fine... if I use 'xterm' it is working with the 'csh' too !, and if I initiate a 'shelltool' from such a 'xterm' session it works ok. Many thanks if you could mail me some help ! Fons Ullings de Vrije Universiteit, Physics Lab, Amsterdam email: fons@nat.vu.nl
