Personally I agree with you about Dectalk as far as its response to
application programs.  However to the average person hearing it for the
first time it is amazing understandable and sometimes that is what it
takes to convince people to support a computer training program of this
type.  I like the response of Vocal-Eyes for most of my application
programs but I do find it slower for communications applications so I
use Artic as it seems to be faster.  Maybe I've been working to hard.
