Dear Lord, save us from the deaf snobs!  Just who the heck are
you to proclaim that cochlear implants should not be used for
children?  Why would you deny a child the right to live as part
of mainstream society and force him into the deaf community?

I read the NAD position paper on cochlear implants for children.
I couldn't believe it-- I actually called the NAD and asked if it
was truly their opinion or whether it had been misquoted or
mis-translated.  It appears the NAD is vehemently opposed to
cochlear implants for children... a position with which I
*STRONGLY* disagree.
