There are no shims on the Braille BookMaker, and no embossing bar to flip. The paper impact is controlled with the normal Keypad. Graphics mode is chosen with an escape sequence. It is apparently possible to go in and out of graphics mode on the same page, to do both braille and graphics. So, it is possible to do graphics, but it would take some setup. ...
