Nolan,  It sounds like the synthesizer and hard drive are using the same
interrupt.  There is a jumper on the votalker to change the IRQ setting.  The
choices are 2 3 5 or 7..  the old boards came set to 2.  I had trouble with this
with a Leading Edge I set up once.  I think I ended up using 3 but not positive.

You will also have to tell sonix that you have changed the jumper with a space
/i=X on the sonix command line, where x is the number to which you change this.
