If it didn't, or even if it did, I want to say that I am very glad to have access to this echo, and have enjoyed reading it for the ast couple weeks. If my message about low-cost information services didn't make it onto the echo, I'll repost it. I want to be sure all Braille 'n Speak users know about the Users' Group. Membership costs $10 per year, but the issues for the first calendar year in which you own a BNS are free. Blazie Engineering eventually gives me the names of registered users, but if you want to be sure I get your name, give it to me personally, here, by phone (206) 685-1818,) or by mail (318 S. Judson St., Tacoma, WA 98444). If you bought a BNS in 1990 and haven't gotten your issues, let me know that also, but don't despair. I just received a very large list from Blazie, and am sending out tapes as fast as I can get them copied. I have yet to graduate from my old reliable Apple II to the pc world, though I may do so soon and will have a myriad questions. To start with, does anybody use Speak-Sys, and if so, is it at all viable as a screen reader? for the time being, I use BNS for almost everything, including all telecommunicating. I know there are many telecommunication nicities it doesn't have, but I find it a very comfortable environment to use. Anyway, enough rambling.
