I'm currently using SoundingBoard  and love it. But I can tell
you that I started with the Texas Instruments Ti/99/4a speech,
then went to an Apple 2e with good old Echo, and in every case I
found that I struggled in the beginning to understand what the
buggers were saying; in EVERY SINGLE CASE!
