If my download and file request records tell me anything, it is that blinks still love text adventures! Obviously, one of the reasons BlinkLink has a good selection of text adventures is because its sysop used to spend a lot of his time looking for and playing text adventures! About the only text adventure I can highly recommend now, however, is NOVA.ZIP. This isn't because I don't think there are other good ones out there, and heavens knows I probably have many other good ones here that neither you or I have tried, but Nova was just one of those games that I spent a lot of enjoyable hours with, and sort of holds fond memories with me now. One thing I do want to mention is that I know longer keep just bios writing text adventures here, as I did in the past. There are several reasons for this, including the fact that they are becoming a rarity, and even more importantly, they are dealt with so much more effectively with today's speech programs than they were when I first started collecting text adventures. Nova is a bios writer, so very easy to use, but some of the newer stuff is probably great too, and can be used fairly easily I suspect even if they do direct screen writes. By the way Terry, please don't tell me if you get Nova and successfully get off the planet! It would probably shatter my ego beyond repair! Willie ...
