I need a reasonably flat white noise source with a bandwidth from 0 kHz to about 40 kHz. (I'm building a system to emulate the mating calls of katydids.) I'm looking for some sort of single-chip solution. The output level isn't critical, since it will have to be buffered and switched anyway. I've fooled around a little with amplifying the noise across a reverse biased zener diode, but the level of amplification needed makes the circuit design and layout a little too critical for my taste. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mike Reilly Stop the madness, Don't do EE n1.mjr@isumvs n1mjr@isuvms n1mjr@iastate.edu
