I'm having a problem with GNU Emacs 18.57.1 on VMS - it saves too much state.
When I start it up from emacs.dump, it restores the current directory to the 
emacs Lisp directory and thinks that the current file is loadup.el.

Anyone else solved this problem already.  Can someone tell me where to look?
