I need a set of bitmap fonts for a specialized hardware we are
building. Could somebody on the net provide the following information?

1. What are the popular file formats for bitmapped fonts?
   (I have some bitmap fonts in the GEM(from Digital Research, Inc.)
    file format. Is this format widely used in the industry?)

2. Where can I get bitmapped fonts(names and addresses of font foundaries
   or public domian ftp sites)?
