I am looking for libraries that implement a matrix object
and obvious subtypes (diagonal, symmetric, etc) and corresponding
methods (invert, transpose, eigenvalues, sweep, rank) and operators
(add, multiply, etc).

I have libg++, nihcl, and nlmdl, but none of these contain a
general class of methods and objects.
