Message-ID: <570@spam.ua.oz> Date: 18 Apr 91 00:10:47 GMT Organization: Stats Pure & Applied Maths, Uni of Adelaide, Australia Lines: 17 For my sins I may have to teach a Fortran course in the near future, something I haven't had to do for 20 years. A little while ago there was a potted history of the Fortran language pieced together on this newsgroup. If anyone kept a copy I would be grateful if they could send it to me. Also, perhaps this is not the best place to ask, but it may be the most effective. Who said this: "Teaching programming with Fortran is like teaching arithmetic with Roman notation." Thanks in advance, Bill V. -- Bill Venables, Dept. of Statistics, | Email: venables@spam.adelaide.edu.au Univ. of Adelaide, South Australia. | Phone: +61 8 228 5412
