As promised, the first released version of "The Langauge List" follows
in 3 parts.  I apologize that it is so rough, but my job priorities
have changed and I do not feel I can currently "finish" it.  As such,
posting it "as is" seems to be the best way to get it out into the world
so that others can benefit from it.

I will save any replies or corrections or additions that are sent to
me.  However, I do not promise to be able to keep doing updated
versions of this on a regular basis.

Thanks again to the 50 or so people who contributed.  Their names
and e-mail aliases appear at the end of the document.
