This may sound like a stupid question:

I'd like to take a drawing area (a bounded area) which is initially
rectangular and I'd like to remap it to some other shape, e.g. any
four-sided shape whose 4 corners I specify. I'd also like to be
able to do vertical and horizontal reversals on it before the remap.
Can anyone explain how this might be done?
