It is slower and more expensive per page than laser type, but the printers themselves are less expensive. Color thermal wax printers generally run about $7000-$9000 with a print speed of about 1 page per minute. A few companies that make them are: QMS Model 100 (or something close to that model) (205) 633-4300 NEC Colormate PS $8995 1-800-NEC-INFO Epson also makes one, but I don't have model numbers or anything (213) 373-9511 I don't have any info on actual color LASER printers, but I'd like to get some if anyone has anything. I've heard that they run about $20,000 (ouch!)
