Anyway, it'll be a kick to see some UNIX stuff in this newsgroup for once (eh Kurt? Peter?). :-) I think for historical reasons it should remain UNISIG. Also, it has been my observation that as soon as one changes the name of something like that to "Open something", the "VMS folks" (not to polarize ourselves here... some of my best friends, and all that) move in. There are still many issues that are UNIX-only and will remain so in my opinion for years to come. I mean, once "Open VMS" is a reality, do we expect the VAX (sic) SIG to merge with the Open Systems SIG (OSS)? (Actually, Iguess they'd really have to disband and join the UNISIG...say, this is sounding interesting... Fred
