I am a die hard Emacs user, and have tried as many DOS emacs-like editors as I have been able to get my hands on (never had the opportunity to try Epsilon though). When the editor wars started heating up here at work again (emacs vs. vi & brief vs. everyone), we decided to try Sage - mostly for the multiple user interfaces. I have been very happy with the Emacs emulation (BTW, Sage calls it Epsilon mode). Of course, being an Emacs user, I don't live with the default setup for long. I think that the mouse support is "just right" - I usually don't use the mouse much, because I can do just about anything using emacs commands, but there are some things that are a lot easier with the mouse (some yank and put operations, for example). Sage is easy to extend or modify - I would recommend it to anyone that likes to tinker with their editor. I also must echo the comments about helpful tech support. When one of my coworkers had a question about a particular feature, he was put in touch with the developer of that feature.
