I have a problem, I need to know if a may write on a disk or a diskette
without having to try and sometimes get the PC write the silly message:

	Not ready error reading drive A
	Abort, Retry, Fail? _

The application I'm developing is a menudriven interface and it is frustrating
to see the above text scroll the screen.
