A _what_ ??  Even assuming that "secure" and "protected" have any
meaning with anon ftp, how does that help all those without ftp access?
You haven't solved the problem, only fixed it for yourself.

CBM "gets a cut" from BIX or CIS? You better let them know about this, I
don't think they are aware of it. Were you "forced" to use a pay service
to get 1.3.2? No, you just pay (GASP! there's that word _pay_ again)
your local dealer for a copy of it, like any previous OS upgrade.
Remember that CBM was trying to do its customers a favor with the
limited electronic distribution of 1.3.2, and that legal concerns are
the main reason for limiting electronic distribution.

Which is an incentive for them not to provide any means of electronic
distribution. What you're saying is that if you can't have it, nobody
else can either?

Anyway, why all the excitement? 1.3.3 is a truely trivial upgrade. Other
than SetPatch fixing the hires/lores screen combination lockup (and
there are at least 2 PD/shareware programs that do this) all of the
changes are to fix Enforcer hits, not functional changes. Unless you
have Enforcer running, you'll never know the difference.
